Rushall village and the Parish Council came together on Saturday 7th March for a community spring clean, with a fantastic turnout from local residents. Volunteers spread out across Rushall, North Newton and Charlton St Peter, working hard to tidy verges, paths and shared spaces around the area. It was wonderful to see so many people giving their time to help keep the local community looking its best.

After a productive morning, everyone gathered at the Rushall and Charlton St Peter Village Hall for the regular monthly coffee morning, held on the first Saturday of every month at 10am. The hall was buzzing with activity. Volunteers had laid on a delicious spread, including bacon and sausage butties, homemade cakes and a raffle, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed.

It was a very successful day all round. The weather was kind — crisp and dry — and the strong community spirit made the event a pleasure for everyone involved. Many thanks to all who helped organise the clean-up and to those who came along to lend a hand.
